In December the EFF held the annual general meeting, in Strasbourg (Chateud’Ile, Ostwald). During the meeting Sharon EllulBonici gave an overview of the separation of staff which will benefit both organisations, in order to ensure accomplishments set for future period. The Members unanimously approved the changes and appointed the new Board members. December period will serve as a transitional period while in 2013 the new Board will fully take over the management of the Foundation as all Members had accepted their new appointments and responsibilities.
An update on the expenditure and activity plan was given for the benefit of the new Board. An explanation on pending work and activities was also conducted. Concerning the upcoming activities, it was decided that P. Claeys will represent the Foundation on the issue on the political situation in South Africa, and that all research must be done an finalised and book to be published in 2014. After the meeting a dinner followed where all members present and guests could exchange views on how to further achieve the Foundation’s goals.
